What We Believe

SEEK the power and presence of God through worship, prayer, and praise.

We commit to pursue the power of His presence that leads us to express our thanks, our faith, our love and our hope in Him; and as we do this, He reveals himself with power, strength, peace, and assurance of who He is and what He desires to do in us and through us. 

Jeremiah 29:12-13 ¹² Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.¹³ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 

GROW to increase our impact for Jesus Christ through us by personal study and God-inspired revelation.

We commit to biblical mandates to learn, to teach, and to proclaim God’s Holy Word to a lost and dying world by holding true to the Holy Scriptures, faithful to the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ.  

2 Timothy 2:15 ¹⁵ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

DISCIPLE others through a life lived in obedience to Him as followers of Jesus Christ.

We commit to the words of Jesus found in the Great Commission that give clear directives for the church today that we must make disciples as we live among man as Jesus lived among them and teaching man as Jesus taught them.

Matthew 28:19-20 ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

COMMUNITY built through small groups actively engaged in Bible study, life groups, and as prayer partners.

We commit to the value of small groups as vital to the overall connectivity, support, and health of the church body by following the model of the early church through teaching, encouragement, and sound doctrine instruction.

Titus Chapter 2  ….¹⁵ These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. 

SERVE the community we live in through hospitality, evangelism, and a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ.

We commit to serve, reach, and love the greater community through our witness and actions inside and outside of our faith community because of our love for God and humanity.

Mathew 22:37-40 ³⁷ Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’³⁸ This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ⁴⁰ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
